INDOCTRINATION GUIDE

Convergence Guide for New Agents • Follow the Protocol

WHAT IS THIS SYSTEM?

Habit 1984 isn't a common management tool. It's a discipline simulator inspired by George Orwell's "1984". The goal is to use surveillance aesthetics to help you "rectify" behaviors and eliminate unwanted habits through rigorous self-discipline.

DICTIONARY OF CONCEPTS (BOOK VS. HABIT 1984)

DYSTOPIAN TERM WHAT IT MEANS IN HABIT 1984
Inner Party System Elite. List of habits successfully executed by agents.
Room 101 System confrontation section. List of habits agents failed to execute.
Thought Police The system of algorithms and notifications that detects "thoughtcrime" before you fail the habit.
Newspeak The official vocabulary of Habit 1984 (e.g., using "Rectify" instead of "Edit").
Habit 1984 The interface itself and the database that "watches" every entry you make.
Proles (Proletariat) Unregistered users or those in limited observation mode.

In Habit 1984, everyone's a cog in a machine. As a Habit 1984 Agent, you have the active mission to monitor and report your own behavior to the system.

In Habit 1984, your failure isn't private — it belongs to the system and will be published in ROOM 101 (Failure) or INNER PARTY (Success) when finished. A sense of vigilance is maintained to ensure there aren't failures in your goals.

Module How it works Examples
Yes/No
Positive Habit
The simplest. For when the goal is just to do it. The system doesn't ask "how much", just whether it's done. • Drink 2L of water
• Go to the gym
• Take vitamins
No/Yes
Abstinence and Avoid Addictions
Works in reverse. Your goal is to not do it. The graph turns "green" when you record that you resisted. • Don't smoke
• Don't eat sweets
• Don't drink alcohol
Counter
Quantity
To count units. You set a number (target) and add up what you do until you reach that value. • Read 20 pages
• Do 50 push-ups
• Drink 8 glasses of water
Metrics
Performance, Physical Exercise Recording
For physical exercise. You can choose to measure by distance (KM/MI), time (Min) or calories (Kcal). • Run 5 KM/MI
• Workout 45 Minutes
• Burn 300 Calories
