Data Conduct Code v1.0

1. DATA COLLECTION (NECESSARY SURVEILLANCE)

To ensure your integration into the Habit 1984 system, we collect and store the following data through your Google authentication:

Google ID: To identify your unique registration in our archives.
Email: For official communications and compliance alerts.
Country and Language: To optimize your Telescreen (browser) interface.
Habit Data: All your victories and failures are permanently recorded.

2. COOKIES AND TRACKING

We use strictly necessary Session Cookies. These files only serve to let the system know who you are and your preferences while you browse. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. At Habit 1984, the only tracking is the Party's.

3. DATA DISCLOSURE

The Party does not sell your data in bulk to external corporations. However, you must be aware of the nature of this system:

Habit 1984 is a Public Accountability platform. Your habits, successes and failures (crimethoughts) are public by design. By using this system, you accept that your progress is visible to other Agents and Proles (Unregistered Users).

4. SECURITY AND RETENTION

Your data is stored on secure servers as long as your account is active. If you decide to leave the Party (delete your account), your records will be vaporized from our archives, although statistical traces may remain for Habit 1984 analysis.

5. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access your data and request correction of any "truth" you deem incorrect. Contact the Ministry of Truth via our CONTACT form if you detect any inconsistency.
